A Week

Tori's best friend Amanda came to visit from Reno for three or four days. It was wonderful to see her again. They have not changed at all...giggling and talking into the wee hours of the morning. They had lots of fun on Rich's new iMAC taking funny pictures with special effects. These were a couple of my favorites. They have been friends since way back in Pennsylvania when they were about 8 years old. Too cute.

We had a wedding for Rylie and a neighbor girls Webkins. They had invitations, reception, refreshments and even a honeymoon.

We are having a fun day in the mountains tomorrow for Father's Day. We are even going fishing. I know, I know, very outdoorsy for me. Dont worry, I am not sleeping outside. We will come home before any sleeping happens. We are going to a camping family reunion later this summer so I am going to have to learn how to do it eventually...just not tomorrow.

We are going to be tending cousins this week while their parents are in Spain. We are bursting at the seams with excitement. Cousins still thrill us like little else in the world. As if that were not exciting enough, grandpa and grandma will be arriving here soon too! So forget about it, were just gonna explode.

Which reminds me, we had an incredibly wonderful fireside the other night about strengthening our youth. They talked a lot about family home evening and making strong families. Good stuff.

There were lots of other little details in there too. Bike riding, house playing, art making good times, just as it should be in the summer. Now if it would just get above 60 degrees...
